My experience with photography began in 1956 with my brother`s Kodak Pony 135. Since then I have taken photos in many formats and at many locations. During the past five years I have expanded into digital photography and art.

Born in Southern California, Gene spent years venturing and adventuring in the Pacific Northwest. His path went from the mill towns of Oregon to the farming and logging country of Southwest Washington and back to a sailboat on the Columbia River in Portland, Oregon. Gene now lives in San Diego and, with over half a century of experience, continues to persue his interest in photography, art and music.
